What is an Interactive Art?
An interactive art is a physical item that connects to digital content through a chip. Either tap your phone in the middle of the artwork to unlock the experience.
How does the Tap Art work?
No app or scanning needed. All you need is a modern smart phone that support NFC. Each Tap Art has a small electronic chip (NFC Tag) embedded behind the design that automatically connects to your phone when you hold it in the middle of the artwork. The same technology behind contactless payments, just used differently. Read more in the How to Use section.
How to customize my artwork?
The only way to customize your artwork is by tapping your phone in the middle of your actual artwork and pressing "Customize your artwork" in the top right corner. For more information, please go to Customize Your Artwork
How do I get messages from the artists?
Artists can send messages through our YÁY App for their designs. When you tap your phone in the middle of the design, you'll receive the message if there is one.
Why should I get a Tap Art?
Tap Art is made by independent designers with YÁY collaboration. Tap your phone in the middle of the artwork and unlock a hidden layer. Such as a message from your favorite artist or an affirmation or a gift and more. Every Tap Art has also limited events. Check out the Event Calendar for more.
