Yáy Atelier is a multidisciplinary studio blending fashion, art, and technology to help people reconnect with their true self. At its core are original designs created by founder Esra, alongside collaborations with independent artists who bring their own stories, perspectives, and creative expressions to the platform.
Each bandana design is transformed into its own original music track through an innovative design-to-sound process. Every color, shape, and pattern is converted into music notes and then into a musical composition, turning wearable art into a sensory experience.
Scarves and posters are interactive, each embedded with a digital layer that unlocks affirmations, fortunes, and surprises hidden within every design. With a simple tap of your phone, customers can discover their message, customize their own, or receive a random one from the artist.

Our founder, Esra, created YÁY out of a frustration with feeling like she had to shrink herself in order to be accepted. When she spoke with others, she realized many multi-passionate people felt the same; boxed in, told they were “too much,” and expected to choose just one path.
YÁY was built as a response to that limitation; a space where art, technology, and storytelling come together to help people reconnect with their unapologetic self.
Esra is an engineer and multi-passionate creator with a background in Mechatronics Engineering and Sensor Technology, where she graduated with a silver medal. Born in Izmir, Türkiye, and now based in Cologne, Germany, she also studied at a Film Academy. Her global perspective is shaped by living across Germany, China, Türkiye, Cambodia, and the USA. Her creative work spans music, film, and visual storytelling.

Her world is bold, colorful, and expressive; building a happy, emotional brand that transforms complexity into something bright, human, and alive.
“As an engineer and multi-passionate, I never wanted to fit into just one box. At YÁY, we don’t fit into boxes; we merge talents, passions, and stories into every piece and get creative.” - Esra Demirhan Founder
